This is a truly unique recipe that is great tasting and is really easy to make. The flavor is uncanny and a great way to enjoy your pizza when the craving hits. When the kids are all home on School break or summer vacations, you need foods that are quick, easy to make and filling.
As you know, kids have a stomach that does not end. They seem to be able to eat constantly, unless we find foods that fill them up.
This recipe is actually fun to make and the kids could actually help which will ultimately help you. This recipe is great on the food budget and does not take that long to make.
This dough is flaky, buttery, and strong enough to hold the pepperoni and the gooey mozzarella cheese inside.
Could I use a different meat?
You want one that will not be too bulky. You could use almost any meat if you can make it in small enough crumbles.
What type of dough am I using for this recipe?
I used frozen bread dough that was thawed. I rolled it out real thin because it will puff up a little as it is baking. I would imagine that you could use pizza dough rolled out just as thin.
How many people will one loaf of bread dough feed for this recipe?
I usually figure it as 2 to 3 people per loaf. So, if you are feeding more than 2 or 3, you will want to use two loaves.
Should I use marinara for a dipping sauce?
You can use marinara, you could use pizza sauce, you can try RanchDressing or even Buffalo Sauce.
