½ to 1 pound Ground beef, lean
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
4 Garlic Cloves, freshly minced
½ head of Cabbage, shredded
1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced into strips
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Cornstarch
½ cup cold Water
1 tsp Black Pepper
How to make Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry:
Step 1. In a Wok or large skillet, add the oil and heat over medium high heat
Step 2. Saute the garlic for 15 seconds
Step 3. Crumble and add the ground beef to the skillet
Step 4. Cook until the beef is no longer pink
Step 5. Drain the grease from the skillet
Step 6. Add the bell pepper and the cabbage to the skillet
Step 7. Cook until the vegetables are tender
Step 8. Mix the cornstarch and water in a small dish
Step 9. Add the soy sauce and pepper
Step 10. Add to the meat mixture and stir until the sauce thickens
