It takes very little time to produce this enticing flavor. Go ahead and try this one tonight!
This is such a great idea for a meal any night of the week, and it does not need extra sides, there is already everything you need. However, I generally make a Strawberry and Grilled Chicken Salad to go with it.
I have seen this with green beans in the ground beef, why is this corn?
You could add the vegetable of your choosing. This Is what I found to be the original and authentic version.
Can I use Potato Rounds?
These are similar in flavor to Tater Tots and could be swapped for the tater tots. The only difference that I see is that Potato Rounds are round discs rather than puffs of potatoes.
Can a different type of protein be used?
If you want to make this dish with Chicken, Sausage or Turkey, feel free to do so. I have not made the switch in meat, so I am not able to tell if there is a drastic difference overall.
How do I store this dish?
Once the casserole has completely cooled, it can be placed in an airtight container and placed into the refrigerator. It will last for up to 4 days.
How do I reheat the Casserole?
You can place a serving on a plate and use the microwave to heat the serving to the desired temperature. You could also place the casserole in an oven set to a low setting such as 300* and reheat until it is heated through.
