Ritz crackers are a great treat, they are light and buttery, but they can be even more special. This recipe is for Ranch flavored Ritz crackers. They are great for a snack, great as an appetizer. This is perfect to have sitting on the counter to grab one or two when you are ready for a treat.
A simple packet or two of seasoning and you can change up the crackers in a very short time. When you have Holiday Parties, or any gathering this is the easiest and tastiest food you can make.

Do I have to use Ritz?
You can use another brand that has a similar cracker. You want one that is buttery, flaky and crisp. So any brand will work as long as it fits the same flavor category.
Could I use a seasoning other than Ranch?
You could, but then it would not be Ranch flavored crackers. I would suggest that this recipe is tried first and then decide if you want to try a different flavor.
How do I store these crackers?
The crackers can sit on the counter as long as they are placed into an airtight container. You could also keep them stored in the refrigerator if you like them chilled. It may help them stay fresh a day or two longer to be in the refrigerator.
Ingredients:
1 box Ritz crackers
1 stick butter, unsalted and melted
¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 pkg Ranch Dressing Mix
How to make Ranch Ritz Crackers:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 300*
Step 2. Place the butter into a microwave safe bowl
Step 3. Run the microwave to melt the butter, but do not overcook it.
Step 4. In a large ziploc bag, add the Ranch seasoning, Parmesan Cheese, red pepper flakes and garlic powder.
Step 5. Add the crackers to the bag
Step 6. Zip the bag and shake the ingredients
Step 7. Add in the melted butter and seal the bag
Step 8. Gently shake the bag again
Step 9. Lay the crackers in a single layer on a baking tray
Step 10. Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes
Step 11. Set to the side to cool completely before storing in a ziploc bag.
