Two of my favorite flavors are combined in this salad. Well, obviously all the flavors are phenomenal. When a pasta salad combines Ranch dressing and bacon, with assorted vegetables like peas, carrots and tomatoes. Add to it the simple taste of bowtie pasta, and the salad is almost complete.
This is a great dish that you can serve at picnics, buffets, potlucks or parties.
A great tasting dressing using ranch, mayonnaise only. There are no additional seasonings, herbs or heavy ingredients. A simple, easy to make and one that goes fast once people taste this delicious treat.
Can I use a different pasta?
You can use a different pasta if you would like to. Elbow macaroni, miniature shells, or even spaghetti would make good substitutions.
Could I add ham to this pasta salad?
You could, however, there will be a change in the taste. Ham is a great addition, but it may take away from the classic bacon ranch flavor.
