Who is crazy about these little yummy vegetables? If you don’t like mushrooms you are really missing out. Or if you’ve never tried them, make them for dinner tonight. Because today it’s all about a quick and easy recipe for the very healthy Sauteed Balsamic Mushrooms. Did you know this recipe is keto and vegan? Yes, it’s so good for you! It’s a gourmet side dish that doesn’t take long to pull together. The delicious balsamic sauce packs so much flavor. Pair it with a grilled chicken or steak and a sweet potato for an absolutely perfect dinner meal. If I could make this side every night, I would. They are addicting! Like potato chips, you can’t just have one serving. You will be craving more! This is one droolworth side dish especially if you are a mushroom lover.

So, just how do you make these healthy sauteed balsamic mushrooms? Let’s get down to business. Sliced baby Bella mushrooms, balsamic vinegar, water, brown sugar, butter, olive oil, minced garlic, onion, and of course, salt and pepper to taste. As you can see, there really isn’t anything unique about these ingredients. They are easy, simple items you most likely have in your pantry or fridge. You most likely won’t have to run to the store to make Sauteed Balsamic Mushrooms except to buy fresh baby Bella mushrooms.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind for making Sauteed Balsamic Mushrooms:

  • It would be best if you did not wash your mushrooms with water. Since they already have such a high water content, if you get them wet, you may have difficulty getting them to brown in the skillet. You should just use a damp paper towel to wipe off any dirt on the mushrooms.
  • While they are on the pricey side, good quality balsamic vinegar is so important. It might be more expensive but, it’s much better than your average balsamic vinegar from the grocery store.
  • I strongly suggest cooking the mushroom in the largest pan you have. You really want to spread out the mushrooms. If they are spread out in a single layer the moisture, the moisture can quickly evaporate.

What should I serve with Sauteed Balsamic Mushrooms?

Let me give you a few ideas From Gate to Plate! You can serve them with a delicious Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin alongside the mushrooms and mashed potatoes.

If you want a veggie-filled dinner, you could pair the Sauteed Balsamic Mushrooms with Keto Tuna Melt Stuffed Tomatoes and jasmine rice. This would be delicious together on a warm summer night.

No matter what you serve with them, they are just so good. If you are looking for a versatile side dish, Sauteed Balsamic Mushrooms are delicious. This yummy version of mushrooms are like little candies. The sweet brown sugar glaze is just so good.
