Asian cuisine is a delightful meal whether you order it to be delivered or you go out to eat. This recipe is for a healthier version of Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken. Sometimes it can be a hassle to decide what to make for dinner.
After a long day, you want to come home, make a great meal, but not spend forever in the kitchen. This dish is super easy to make, needs very few items and tastes just like the Chinese restaurant down the block.
Changing up the menu is one thing that I look forward to in our home. I like to get the family eating multiple types of food, different cuisines. When I do change it up, the smiles are enough to make it worth it. Besides, who can turn down Chinese food?
This dish is also what I would consider healthy since it is baked and not fried.
What should I serve with this Sweet and Sour Chicken?
Rice is the most common side that is served with Sweet and Sour. However, you could serve Cauliflower Rice, quinoa, mashed potatoes or even pasta.
Can I use a cut of chicken other than Chicken Breast?
You could use the Chicken Thigh. The dark meat is a small amount juicier and will taste just as good.
Should I serve a side with the Baked Sweet and Sour?
Other than rice, I will most often serve steamed Chinese Vegetables on the side.
