Ingredients:
1 jar Dill Pickle Slices
1 large Egg, beaten
½ cup Chicken Broth
1 cup Flour, all purpose
Salt and Pepper(optional)
Oil for frying
How to make Fried Pickles:
Step 1. In a deep sided skillet, heat 2 to 3 inches of Oil over medium high heat
Step 2. In a bowl beat the egg, add in the chicken broth, salt and pepper and flour
Step 3. Whisk until smooth, if the batter is too runny add in flour, if it is too thick, add a tsp more of Chicken broth at a time, until you reach desired consistency.
Step 4. Drain the pickle slices really well. Pat dry
Step 5. Dip the pickle slices into the batter one at a time.
Step 6. Carefully place them into the heated oil
Step 7. Fry until Golden brown on both sides
Step 8. Drain on paper towels and place onto a serving plate around a bowl of dipping sauce
