Method
- In a mixing bowl fitted with a dough hook, combine the 1 3/4 cup flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
- Heat the butter, milk, and water in a microwave safe bowl to 90-110*F.
- Slowly pour heated liquid into the flour mixture and mix until flour is absorbed.
- Add the egg, adding a little flour at a time until the dough is smooth.
- Turn dough out onto a floured surface and punch down.
- Allow to rest for 10 minutes before rolling into an 11x15 rectangle.
- Once rolled out, then spread the 3/4 cup strawberry jam over dough and roll up.
- Cut into 12 equal pieces and place into a 9x13 baking dish.
- Place rolls in a warm area and allow to proof until double in size.
- Bake in a 350*F preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Once baked, allow to cool.
- Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, combine the butter, cream cheese and jam, mixing until smooth.
- Next, add the cocoa and slowly add the powdered sugar until you've reached desired thickness.
- Spread over rolls and top with chocolate covered strawberries if desired!
