Sloppy Joes Instant Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. Fat free 90% ground turkey breast
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • ¼ C tomato sauce
  • ½ C ketchup
  • ½ C chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ C water

Method
 

  1. Set the instant pot to saute.
  2. Add olive oil, garlic, and onion to the instant pot.
  3. Continue to cook until the garlic and onion are translucent.
  4. Add the ground turkey, cooking it until it is no longer pink.
  5. Pour in the water.
  6. In a small bowl add the tomato sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, and tomato paste.
  7. Stir to mix.
  8. Add the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to the same bowl.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Slowly add the ingredients in the small bowl to the Instant pot.
  11. Stir to mix well.
  12. Close and lock the lid on the Instant Pot.
  13. Make sure that the vent is closed.
  14. Set the Instant Pot for 8 minutes.
  15. After 8 minutes, let the pressure naturally vent for 10 minutes.
  16. Open the vent.
  17. Allow it to vent the remaining pressure.
  18. Serve on a bun.
