Pepperoni Bread

This recipe is great on the food budget and does not take that long to make. This dough is flaky, buttery, and strong enough to hold the pepperoni and the gooey mozzarella cheese inside

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf Bread Dough frozen, but thawed
  • ½ pound Pepperoni slices
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp Butter unsalted and melted

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375*
    2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper
    3. Roll the bread dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick
    4. Cover the dough with shredded mozzarella cheese
    5. Top the cheese with the sliced pepperoni
    6. Starting at the side nearest you, begin rolling the dough up as tightly as your can
    7. Place the bread pizza roll on the parchment lined baking tray seam side down
    8. Brush the roll with the melted butter
    9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the dough is golden brown
    10. Slice and serve hot

Notes

Could I use a different meat?
You want one that will not be too bulky. You could use almost any meat if you can make it in small enough crumbles.
