- 1. In a skillet over medium high heat, crumble and brown the ground beef
2. Drain the excess fat from the skillet
3. Season with black pepper and Sazon seasoning
4. In another skillet, add the Olive Oil and brown the shell pasta
5. When pasta is browned, add the shells to the Ground Beef
6. Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet and stir to combine
7. Cover and reduce the heat to a simmer
8. Cook until the shells are tender
Notes
What size pasta shells should I be using for this dish?
My suggestion is to use medium sized shells. This size will allow some meat and sauce to sit in the shell without being too large of an amount. The small shells would not hold enough of the meat and sauce to enjoy each of the flavors in one bite.
