- 1. Preheat the oven to 325*
2. Spray a 10 inch Tube pan or Bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray
3. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer, add in the sugar and beat for 5 minutes
4. Add the eggs in one at a time, beating after each one
5. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each
6. Add the lime zest and stir well
7. Add the vanilla and lime juice
8. Stir until well combined
9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly
10. Bake for 90 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean
11. Remove from the oven and cool to room temp
12. In another bowl, combine the butter and cream cheese, beat until blended well
13. Add the confectioner’s sugar and blend well
14. Add the lime juice, lime zest and vanilla, stir until well combined
15. Spread the icing glaze over the cooled cake
