- 1.Preheat the oven to 350*
2.Spray a 9x13 baking pan with non stick spray
3.In a mixing bowl, combine the bisquick Biscuit mix and 1 cup of water and stir to blend well
4.In a skillet over medium high heat, crumble the ground beef and cook thoroughly
5.Drain the grease from the meat
6.Stir in the taco seasoning and ¾ cup of water, stir to blend
7.Reduce the heat to a simmer and simmer for 5 minutes
8.In a bowl combine the mayonnaise, sour cream half of the diced onion and ½ cup of Cheddar Cheese, stir to blend well
9.Press the biscuit dough in the bottom of the prepared pan, be sure to go up about ½ inch on all sides with the dough
10.Layer the ground beef on top of the biscuit dough
11.Top the meat with the diced tomatoes
12.Add the bell pepper and the remaining onion to the skillet to saute until soft
13.Add in the green chilis
14.Layer these on top of the diced tomato
15.Next spread the sour cream mixture over the top as evenly as possible
16.Top with the remaining cheddar Cheese
17.Bake for 35 minutes, until the edges are browned
18.Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes
19.Serve with Sour Cream, Salsa or Guacamole

What type of biscuits should I use?
The choice is really up to you. I used Pillsbury large, flaky Grands. However, it really is not going to make a difference. The biscuits are buried under all the goodness in this
dish.However, the recipe calls for Bisquick biscuits, these are so tasty and
work perfectly in this meal.
