- 1. In a mixing bowl combine the ground beef, egg, one half of the onions, garlic powder, bacon bits, salt and pepper and the breadcrumbs
2. Form the meat into four equal sized patties and dip into the flour so they are lightly coated
3. Heat the Olive oil in the skillet over medium heat, place the patties into the skillet and brown well on both sides
4. Remove the patties from the skillet and set to the side,
5. Add the remaining onions to the skills and saute until they are soft,
6. Whisk together the ¼ cup flour and the water in a bowl, add this to the skillet and stir well,
7. Continue to stir as you add in the gravy mix, Worcestershire Sauce and salt and pepper
8. Add the mushrooms and the patty's back into the skillet.
9. Simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.
