Ingredients
  

  • 2 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened to room temperature

  • 1 8 oz. package chipped dried beef, finely chopped
  • 3 stalks green onion, thinly chopped
  • 1½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powderSalt to taste (before adding)Ritz crackers or preferred dippers for serving

Method
 

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Using an electric hand mixer or sturdy wooden spoon, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the finely chopped chipped dried beef and green onions to the cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly incorporated.
  3. Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to distribute the seasonings throughout the mixture. Taste and add salt if needed.
  4. Lay a large piece of plastic wrap on your work surface and spoon the cream cheese mixture into the center. Use the plastic wrap to shape the mixture into a round ball, then twist the ends together to secure it.
  5. Place the wrapped cheese ball in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours. For the best flavor and texture, you can refrigerate it overnight.
  6. Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and place it on a serving plate. Garnish with additional chopped green onions or any desired toppings. Serve chilled with Ritz crackers, vegetables, or your favorite dipping snacks.
