Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Whisk the flour with the salt, baking soda and baking powder.
- Cream the sugars and butter together, then beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Mix the flour mixture into the sugar mixture.
- Mix in the chocolate chips.
- Now roll 2 or 3 tablespoons of dough into a ball and repeat with the rest of the dough.
- Arrange the dough balls on a parchment paper lined baking pan.
- Bake for about 8 or 9 minutes, then take them out of the oven when they are just beginning to brown.
- Leave them in the baking pan for a couple of minutes and then let them cool completely on a wire rack.

Variations and Substitutions:
Sub chopped chocolate or chocolate chunks for the chocolate chips if you like, or use another extract in place of the vanilla.
