- 1. Preheat the oven to 350*2. Grease a baking tray or line with a sheet of parchment paper3. In a skillet, crumble and brown the ground beef4. Drain the fat from the skillet when done cooking5. Add in the packet of Taco Seasoning Mix, follow the packet instructions for the amount of water to use6. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth, add in the ½ cup salsa and blend well7. Lay the tortillas on a flat surface in front of you8. Spoon a good amount of the cream cheese salsa combination on the center of each tortilla9. Place a spoonful of the ground beef over the cream cheese mix10. Sprinkle with some of the shredded cheese11. Continue this for each of the tortillas12. Now you need to roll each tortilla as though you are rolling a burrito13. Place each ‘pocket’ on the lined baking tray14. Brush with melted butter and add a tiny bit more of shredded cheese.15. Bake for about 15 minutes16. Serve with your favorite sauces
Notes
What size of tortillas should be used?
I usually stick with the 6 inch size, however, you could also use larger sizes if you prefer.
How long can I freeze these for?
As long as they have cooled completely, been placed into an airtight container, or wrapped tightly, they will last in the freezer for up to 3 months.
