- 1. Preheat the oven to 350*
2. Grease a baking tray or line with a sheet of parchment paper
3. In a skillet, crumble and brown the ground beef
4. Drain the fat from the skillet when done cooking
5. Add in the packet of Taco Seasoning Mix, follow the packet instructions for the amount of water to use
6. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth, add in the ½ cup salsa and blend well
7. Lay the tortillas on a flat surface in front of you
8. Spoon a good amount of the cream cheese salsa combination on the center of each tortilla
9. Place a spoonful of the ground beef over the cream cheese mix
10. Sprinkle with some of the shredded cheese
11. Continue this for each of the tortillas
12. Now you need to roll each tortilla as though you are rolling a burrito
13. Place each ‘pocket’ on the lined baking tray
14. Brush with melted butter and add a tiny bit more of shredded cheese.
15. Bake for about 15 minutes
16. Serve with your favorite sauces
Notes
What size of tortillas should be used?
I usually stick with the 6 inch size, however, you could also use larger sizes if you prefer.
How long can I freeze these for?
As long as they have cooled completely, been placed into an airtight container, or wrapped tightly, they will last in the freezer for up to 3 months.
