Fall is upon us… well actually has been for a few weeks, I mean it is now November.
Where do the days go? I guess the saying really is true… “The older you get the quicker the days go.”
Not. Ready. To. Get. Old. Ha.
It’s that season where it’s apples, apples and more apples. Do you have apple trees where you live? I do. We have a Red Delicious and a Yellow Delicious tree. This spring the trees were absolutely beautiful and loaded with blooms, but Mother Nature did her thing and brought a late freeze and we lost over half of our blooms. Therefore, we didn’t have the greatest apple crop this year. So sad… that means less apple pies, apple bars, caramel dip… yup less everything apple. 🙁
Speaking of Caramel Dip… I have an amazing quick and easy 5 ingredient dip that can be whipped up in like 2 minutes. Seriously. No lie.
When I was growing up as a kid, you know being on a farm you’re working until the sun goes down and not much time for cooking… There were lots of nights during the fall when supper consisted of popcorn and apples with optional Caramel Dip on the side. So healthy right? Well it really wasn’t all that bad. I survived 🙂
Whether or not you’re like me and enjoy popcorn, apples and caramel dip for supper…. this is a great dip for your family reunion, tailgating party… well quite frankly, it’s perfect for any occasion.
